About 96 percent of U.S. vehicles are included in the National Motor Vehicle Title Information System. Availability of information is limited for vehicles registered in Rhode Island, Hawaii and the District of Columbia. It is also possible that you entered the VIN incorrectly or that the vehicle is not titled.
That's easy. Simply log into your account, select "Finished orders" at the top and choose the report you would like to access.
Yes. If you can show a state title document proving a report inaccurate, we'll refund your money.
Almost every kind of vehicle on the road is included in the database. This includes cars and trucks, motorcycles, sport vehicles and motorhomes. Information is usually available for trailers, campers, toy boxes and more. If it is about a vehicle that was made before 1981 or is classified as a classic vehicle, it is not included in the database and we cannot provide a vehicle history report.
In most cases, reports are available are available from CheckMotorcycle for vehicles that were exported in the last 5 years from states where information is available. Reports are only available for vehicles titled in the U.S.
No. Federal privacy laws prohibit the inclusion of any personal information.
Accident information from NMVTIS is available from participating states as well as some state DMVs and additional sources. We cannot guarantee that a full accident history is provided. Critical incidents, however, are usually included in Insurance Total Loss records and DMV salvage records and are included in our reports.
Sometimes for vehicles made more than 10 years ago, mileage reports from DMVs are not available.
No. All payments are one-time payments, and we never charge you for a subscription or a recurring payment of any kind.
